Vicente Gomez (1911 - 2001) learned his art from Spain's wandering gypsies. So naturally did it come to him that by the age of ten, he was already entertaining visitors in his father's tavern. At thirteen he made his debut at Madrid's famous Teatro Espanol. This took him on a series of concerts that literally took him to the ends of the earth: North Africa, Russia, Poland, Austria, Cuba, Mexico, and eventually the USA.
There in the late-30s he became a successful recording artist, film composer and performer and became universally acclaimed. This version of "Frenesi" for guitar and Orchestra was recorded in the early-50s.
