Collectors of rare Aussie Jazz will recognise this album cover.  This disc contains all the tracks from "Jazz From Down Under", originally recorded for release in America in 1954, an album which documents important steps forward in the development of Australian Jazz.   As good as it was, you only got so much on a 10 inch disc and there was so much other good stuff going on around the same time so..... in addition to the original program, this CD includes two complete and previously unreleased programs of music prepared by Clarke and Oxley for radio's famous Swing Club!  Delving into the archives however, revealed yet more Aussie Jazz treasures so the 'JFDU' has series now showcases many rare and/or unreleased tracks which have never sounded better.
