Sound Clip From: "The Delhi Belly Dancer"

Few properly recorded examples of the work of Billy Hyde, Frank Smith and Dick Healey exist outside of the Cumquat catalogue.  During their many years at the forefront of Aussie Jazz, each of them, though often recorded in professional sessions, was rarely allowed to display his own musical preferences.  'The Delhi Belly Dancer' (another secret jam session from our vaults), is one of the finest recorded examples of what could really happen when these guys cut loose and is essential listening for all who seek communion with the heart and soul of true-blue Aussie Jazz.  Four of Melbourne's sax heavyweights in full flight with magnificent rhythm sections and Bruce Clarke's guitar offer Classic Aussie jazz at its best.
