'Do Nothin' 'til You Hear From Me' re-introduces a veteran of the '50s Melbourne dance palais circuits, the brass-man's brass-man, Paddy Fitzallan. In 1959, Hollywood producer, Stanley Kramer chose Paddy, above all others, to select and lead the on-screen orchestra in the Ciro's night club scene in the original production of 'On The Beach'. Before finally settling in Perth, Australia, Paddy saw the '60s and '70s as a key figure on the Melbourne and Sydney club scenes by night whilst participating in numerous recording sessions by day. In 1998, he once again entered the recording studio, backed by a fine Western Australian rhythm section, to pay homage to his youthful influences and this album is the result.
