In professional music circles, (circa 1947) the fabulous Joe Mooney Quartet were hailed as the pinnacle of sophistication.  During the quartet's long New York debut, the young Sinatra, among other famous cats would attend nightly to pick up on Joe's vocal delivery.

Yet, despite this professional adulation, their artistry meant little or nothing to a general public that considered music to be nothing more than sonic wallpaper, something to be talked over.  Now after more than half a century of neglect, the question is: "Are you really ready for it?"  If you are, then this could become the most played disc in your collection!
