The Jingle Workshop supplied thousands of original sounds, jingles and other 'musical bon bons' for Radio, Film and TV. The musical brains involved, kept their artistic sensibilities intact by using the facility in 'creative, experimental ways' after-hours. The first such item (released on 45rpm single), an electronic recreation of a Vivaldi Lute Concerto (now a much sought after collector's item), gives its name to this collection of uniquely Aussie sonic adventures. These were among the first EVER to blend electronic and acoustic instruments. Also includes 'Of Spiralling Why', the first major Australian electronic music composition from the early 60s (before synthesizers!) To some degree historically important, like everything else on this CD, you'll either love it or hate it -- there is no in-between!
