A classic album that has lain undisturbed in Cumquat's catacombs for almost 30 years, a stretch of time that has completely altered the face of music and makes the re-discovery of the 'doods' artistry even more precious.

The 'doods were 7 of Melbourne's top musicians who got together to explore the treasures of their trad-jazz heritage with gratifying results.  Each of them had a dark secret -- a deep-seated desire to be a 'Dixie Man'.  Cumquat came to the rescue by providing them with a 'Safe Injecting Room' where they could meet and parade about in their old straw hats unashamed!

Each toe-tapping melody is lovingly taken care of, adding to the glory they have accumulated through the ages, tugging at the heartstrings of true Dixie lovers.
